Paddy McGuinness is to present a festive celebrity quiz show for ITV1.
Paddy’s Show and Telly was first shown last year as another sepcial peaking with 4.5 million viewers. Twofour and GroupM Entertainment have recommissioned the show for a second year.
Three pairs of celebrity guests will be battling it out to win £20,000 for a charity of their choice.
Commissioner, Entertainment at ITV, Kate Maddigan said: “We are excited to have Paddy back for another one-off special of Paddy’s Show and Telly. It’s been a fantastic year of television and this will be a great way to end the year.”
Darren Smith, Head of Comedy Entertainment, Twofour, said: “Paddy’s Show and Telly forms part of Twofour’s growing entertainment slate. We’re looking forward to seeing the year out with a romp through the year’s best telly.”
Tony Moulsdale, Head of Programming at GroupM Entertainment, said: “After a hugely successful year working together on a number of different projects, Paddy’s Show & Telly seems an appropriately celebratory way for GME and Twofour to see out 2012 – on ITV1 with Paddy, having great fun with some of the year’s best TV talent.”
